EXCLUSIVE: Avinash Mishra takes a dig at Rajat Dalal & Elvish Yadav’s ‘stupid’ podcast; says, “Excuse hai ki yaar script mila”

Avinash Mishra won the hearts of many with his stint in the reality show Bigg Boss 18. He was among the top 5 finalists but unfortunately couldn’t win the show. He has been spotted several times after the show ended. However he came into spotlight once again after Rajat Dalal said nasty things about Avinash Mishra, Eisha, Vivian, Chum and other contestants in a podcast with Elvish. In an exclusive chat with Bollywood Bubble, Avinash has slammed Rajat for nasty comments.

For those unversed, a few days back Rajat indulged in a roast segment on Elvish Yadav’s podcast. However, he was called out for making nasty comment on other contestants. While talking about Avinash, he had said, “A lot of people are asking me they can’t find Vivian Dsena, so open Avinash’s zip and see.”

When asked Mishra about the whole roast episode and clips going viral, he said, “To be honest, mujhe bohot hi stupid segment laga woh wala. Maine dekha aur Rajat ko phone bhi kiya ki yaar yeh kya bol rahe hain. Toh he said ‘bhai woh scripted tha aur script diya gaya tha’. Toh yaar script tha toh padha toh hoga na? Padh ke kaise bol sakte ho. (To be honest I found that segment really stupid. I called Rajat after it and asked ‘What all are you saying’? He clarified that the podcast was scripted. So you must have read the script. Then how can you still say such things?)”

Avinash on Rajat calling the podcast scripted

Reacting to claims of Rajat that the episode was scripted, the Titli actor reacts, “I guess yeh excuse hai ki yaar script mila aur bol diya. Nahi bolna chahiye tha. I’m sure usko bhi pata hai ki usne galti kar di hai aur dobara woh mujhe nahi lagta who aise podcast karega. (So I guess that podcast was scripted is an excuse. He should have not said such things. I am sure he is aware that he made a mistake and he won’t do such podcasts again).”

He concluded by saying, “Mujhe bohot weird laga woh cheez dekhke. Aur who roast segment bana ke aap kuch bhi nahi bol sakte na. Wo jo bol raha hai ki mujhe aur Elvish dono ko script diya gaya tha. I’m sure script hi diya hua tha. Itna live roast karne ke liye bohot talent chahiye. Aur podcast bhi scripted hote hain ye sunke main aur shock ho gaya. I feel yeh jo cheez hai woh dono khud bhi drop kar denge. (I found that segment very weird. You can’t just say anything in a game segment. And I am sure he and Elvish must have got a script because such a roasting requires a lot of talent. I was infact shocked to listen that a podcast can be scripted). I am sure they have understood what they did was not right and won’t repeat the mistake.”
